Evan Roth is a versatile graffiti-artist. He is interested in research as well as technology and tool-development. He graduated at Parsons: The New School for Design with the project Graffiti Analysis 2.0., an open data-base registrating and analyzing the data of the movements of grafitti-artists. The formal aspect is to be found as well in Graffiti Taxonomy, a work where, after collecting a number of Paris-found tags, he systemazies them according to their characters. In his work Evan Roth is bridging the gap between hackers and grafitti-writers, both concerned with the recoding of systems.
